Christina Lopez-Hidalgo is a plus size, tomboy from Minneapolis, MN grinding away at the art of comedy. She moved to Los Angeles to put criminals in jail via forensics but found those doors shutting and comedy doors opening. Her openness to try new things led her to screenwriting. She was a finalist out of thousands in the 2016 Stage32 comedy writing contest. Recently her screenplay was placed in 2018 Cinequest's Screen Writing Competition Top 50 feature length scripts and was moved to the quarterfinals of WeScreenplay's feature contest. She continues to train at the Groundlings and performs regularly at the Westside Comedy Theater.
